In season seven of Fatal Attraction, Whisper in the Woods , is the story of the killing of Katrina Dumas by Fred Lenard Jr . The love story between Fred Lenard Jr and Katrina Dumas is compelling and tragic. On the show, everyone initially defends Fred as being someone who would never do this. Fred has moved on, married another woman but resented the fact he could not control Karina.

Their son was found tied-up and face down and told police that his dad shot his mom and threw her behind some tall grass behind a church. Fred showed no mercy to his own child and the mother. He suffered insect bites, snake bites, and bruises around his ankles and wrists.

The show is described as the disappearance of a young mother and her 3-year-old son turns a small Southern town upside down.
